Lecture Fragment: The History of Judaism in the Middle Ages Until the Present Day

These notes are for a lecture given by Professor Kurt Schubert. The subject matter is the course of Jewish history in the Middle Ages, developments during modern history, with reference to court Jews and anti-Semitism, then turning towards contemporary events with an analysis of the Shoah and Zionism. Unfortunately the original title has been lost. Reich Law Gazettes from 1933, 1938 and 1941 were supplied, as well as an anti-Semitic article from the Schwarze Korps, 24 November 1938.

Lecture Project: Jewish Art from Late Antiquity to the Various Haggadot Representations of the Middle Ages

These notes are for Professor Kurt Schubert’s lecture project, where the author discusses examples of Jewish art history, with topics from Late Antiquity, such as the Dura Europos or the Via Latina, as well as several medieval Haggadot. Lecture: Apocalypticism

These notes are for a lecture Professor Kurt Schubert gave in Vienna at KAVW on 23 November 1973, discussing the apocalypse as seen from the perspective of the Pharisees, among others. A copy of the Henoch Apocalypse and the Ten Week Apocalypse were also attached and Professor Kurt Schubert used the subject matter for an article in Bibel und Lithurgie 20, 1977, p. 104-113.
